jewelry made from the dried fiber of the prickly pear cactus

Using a process called lost wax casting, the result is solid sterling silver jewelry with a unique, organic pattern.

You’ll love wearing a piece of botanical jewelry that expresses your connection to the desert Southwest.

how its made

Using a process called lost wax casting, I mold the actual cactus skeleton.

Then I pour metal (silver or gold) into that mold, resulting in a solid metal replica of that cactus skeleton pattern.

Finally, I incorporate that piece of metal to make the final piece of jewelry.
