Jewelry handmade from prickly pear cactus fiber. Each piece is made using a solid metal copy of dried cactus fiber.

This Organic Gold Wide Band Cactus Ring captures the essence of the desert with its organic, freeform design. The wide freeform design is a unique botanical pattern cast from actual prickly pear cactus skeleton. This gold ring will become your go-to Southwestern statement piece.

Need sizing help? Check out my ring sizing kit before you order, as I typically recommend ordering one half to one full size larger than your regular size with wide bands.

Packaged in a Lila Clare Jewelry ring box.

At its widest point, the front of the ring is 0.75" wide, and tapers in the back for a comfortable fit.

I recommend sizing up 1/2 to one size to accommodate the wide band.

Materials

This cactus ring is solid 14k gold - or - 14k gold vermeil (a thick layer of gold overlay on silver).

Eco-friendly desert ring. The solid ring is made with 100% recycled 14k gold. The gold vermeil rings are made with 100% recycled sterling silver plated with a thick layer of gold. Recycled metals are sourced from a certified responsible refiner.

This cactus ring is lost wax cast from the actual woody skeleton of the prickly pear cactus.

Story

This handmade gold wide cactus ring is made using actual Prickly Pear cactus skeletons (skeleton closeup shown). Using the lost wax casting process, each piece is a solid metal replica of a section of cactus skeleton.

Lila Clare Jewelry has been making unique jewelry from the dried cellulose skeleton of the prickly pear cactus since 2010.

In case you're not totally in love with your handmade jewelry, returns and exchanges are accepted within seven (7) days of your receipt of the jewelry. Jewelry must be unworn, in original packaging, and have an approval email from Lila Clare Jewelry. Worn or customized jewelry may not be returned or exchanged.

Jewelry made from the desert

Each cactus piece is handmade using a lost wax casting process.

I choose section of dried prickly pear cactus fiber (yep, the dried cellulose from inside the cactus).
I make a mold of that piece of cactus fiber, then pour silver or gold into the mold.
The result is a solid metal copy of the cactus fiber, which I then made into a unique piece of jewelry.
